Born in Barletta on June 19th 1987, he start the study of the saxophone from the young age of 12, in the “N.Piccinni Conservatory” of Bari, in classical saxophone class of the teacher Ausonio Calò. He participated in numerous seminars and masters on improvisation, including "International Festival of the Saxophone City of Faenza" 2003 and 2004, where he met Jerry Bergonzi, meeting that profoundly marked him, and In.Ja.m at the Siena Jazz Fondation, where he had the opportunity to study with great personalities of international jazz as George Garzone, Jerry Bergonzi, Achille Succi, Ralph Alessi, Enrico Rava, Gianluca Petrella, Michael Blake, Jeff Ballard, Billy Hart, Tim Berne, Anders Jormin, Nguyen Lee, Steve Turrè, Gianluigi Trovesi, Bruno Tommaso, Hein Van de Gein, etc. Since 2003 he worked with Project Impression on a multidisciplinary artistic path, based on the codification of multidisciplinary interplay mechanisms in rhythmic music (active project in Italy and Spain from 2003 to 2008). Between 2007 and 2008 he lives between Italy and Spain, where he teaches in masterclasses on geometric harmonic systems and he performed in various concerts working on the fusion between jazz, folks music and flamenco. Among the many he works in different formations with the famous modern flamenco pianist Angel Andres Munoz. He collaborates with the improvisers Collective Franco Ferguson (Rome) and the CrossRoads (Naples) since 2009. A few months later he founded the improvisers Collective Mediterraneo Radicale. The Collective is still active in Lombardy, Piemonte and Puglia. With the Collective he founded urban laboratories on radical improvisation in various Italian cities, recovering and developing the idea of a multidisciplinary creative art strong of different languages perfectly interpenetrated between them (contemporary music-dance-circus-visual arts- theater etc.). Since 2012 he lives between Turin and Milan, where he collaborates with numerous artists and coordinates the work of Mediterraneo Radicale Collective and the indie label of music related to improvisation Mediterranean Creative Records; he carries on the research project L.U.R.S.M. (Urban Laboratories of Research and Musical Experimentation) and L.U.M.I. (Urban Laboratories of Improvised Music) in the cities of Turin, Milan ad Bari. During his career he played in Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Holland, Denmark, Germany and Swiss. He played with great personalities of jazz and improvised music including Achille Succi, Antonello Salis, Furio Di Castri, Eugenio Colombo, Gianluigi Trovesi, Bruno Tommaso, Andrea Dulbecco, Kaja Draksler, Angel Andres Munoz, Gianluca Elia, Onno Govaert, Jasper Stadhauser, Marcello Giannini, Ron Grieco, Tony Cattano, Stefano Costanzo, Franz Rosati, Roberto Ottaviano, Gabriele Evangelista, Francesco Cafiso, German Bringas, etc. He is the founder and artistic director of Springtime Jazz Festival (international festival that take place in many european cities in Spring) and International Creative Residences (artistic residences program that take place in Italy and Denmark during all the year).
