Aman Jagwani is a percussionist and composer from Mumbai, India who strives to create musical moments of seamless synergy between the audience, the artist and the world. He was awarded the Berklee Achievement Scholarship in 2018 as well as the Armand Zildjian Percussion Achievement Scholarship in 2019 by the Zildjian Company and the Berklee Percussion Department. Compositionally, Aman's works are inspired by the sensations experienced every day that give depth to human life. Thus, in this context of empathy, Aman aims for his music to be a positive, global force. Aman's debut album, Essentially Entangled, which was released on the 10th of May 2019, consists of his original music that is inspired by different feelings, ideologies and aspects of life that help us break barriers and maximize our flow. The Aman Jagwani Quartet will showcase this new music live at Cafe Mercedes. We hope you can join us in finding answers, questions, connections, presence and flow through this music.
